Wild Mannered

Description

Mother Nature requires vengeance and it’s your job to give it to her. Your sacred woods have been gravely trifled with. Whether that be logging, polluting, poaching, or the humble littering, your patron Mother Nature has taken notice. While she can make the wind blow and the grass grow, she cannot walk into town and drag the perpetrator into the dirt to be dealt with. That’s where you come in. You are one of many woodland critters conscripted by Mother Nature herself to inhabit and pilot a trenchcoat through polite society. Your divine purpose: hunt down and covertly apprehend the forest defiling hooligan and return them to the scene of the crime to receive some swift forest justice. Your reward should you succeed? What every woodland critter desires most in their heart: a bounty of unpackaged junk food piled as high as the heavens. The road will be long and filled with treacherous obstacles: traffic rules, property laws, party etiquette, and the dreaded pleasantries. But with your new communally articulative body and a can-do spirit, you just might pull this off. Work together, make a mess, break some stuff, and overall cause an absolute ruckus. Laws can’t stop you and The Man can’t cage you. You aren’t quite a person, but you’re more than just animals now. You are Wild Mannered! Wild Mannered is a simple, silly one-shot ttrpg system that I've been working on for a little too long now. It plays like a mix between Everyone Is John, Crash Pandas, and Lasers And Feelings, some of my favorite one-shot systems. I've included the original mini-zine foldable version (along with folding instructions by Ashley Topacio for reference, you can find her here https://www.instagram.com/mommasmashley/.) I've also included a pared down, easy to read version that's mostly just the words on a page. While it may be small, I've been on and off working on a version of this game for about two years. I sure hope you enjoy it :)
