The cast, transformations, secrets and plot events are stand alone and can be run in another system in theory, but several elements including island locations are intended to weave into things found in the base game book and for the best experience, both games should be available when playing. Additionally a deck of the 22 major arcana cards of the tarot are intended to play this game. While playing cards can be substituted using the rules provided in the base game, it is STRONGLY recommended you have, make or proxy the 22 cards of the major arcana before attempting to run any IoDM campaign. UPDATE! Two more reskins that I worked on ESCAPE from PLANET AEAEA a sci-fi adventure reskin and Voyage to Brasil which reskins the game to have a gothic horror vibe are also out now and free to anyone who owns a copy of IoDM! While much less in depth then this reskin they are no less jam packed with love and attention to detail by the amazing team behind the base game!
