Description

Want to make music, but no ideas come up? Put some furries in a toaster! Furries in a Toaster is a one-page, journaling TTRPG about creating your own silly and colorful furry/animal music artist. This game can also work as a tool for generating ideas for songs if you like to create music, including song mashups! (but no DAWs, instruments or music theory knowledge are actually needed to play this game) What You Need To Play - The rulebook (it fits in a single A4 paper sheet; there's also an optional helper you can print on the back side, but it's not needed to play the game)- A twenty-sided die- Pen and paper (or something you can write or draw on overall) The Game Itself In Furries in a Toaster, you first create your character/alias, either randomly by using a 20-sided die or manually with your own preferences. The character creator has A LOT of options to choose from, making sure you can make as many different aliases as your heart desires! In this game, more than the music itself though, you write your creative process for this potential song (or even a whole album). You may optionally use this very journal to make your own, real songs too! Think of this as how a game designer would use a GDD (Game Design Document) to document everything they need to make their game before actually developing it (though in a more casual way).
