Description
Final Quest is set in the fantasy world of Arvion. You play as one of the regions most fearsome fighters and are tasked with venturing into the Caverns of Mourne and slaying the Beast that shakes the Earth (as the locals refer to it) Unfortunately, you died alongside the rest of your party. But now, for some reason, you awake in the dark depths of the Caverns. With a second chance given, you must take revenge against the beast and escape the Caverns victorious. Are you ready for one Final Quest? Game Objective There are various ways to win in FQ1. Escaping the Caverns, killing the Beast and taking as many of its monster friends down with it as possible. Either one or both will win you the game. (in reality doing both is the only true morale win) Game Play The game is driven by a deck of cards. You will draw one card per turn and encounter the events detailed on that drawn card. Some cards provide multiple options and from there you get to choose which path you will take. The cards range from NPCs, Opponents, Locations and Equipment. When drawing a location card you can choose to enter as to gain unique rewards. Combat and skill checks are resolved through dice rolls. —description from the publisher
