Description
Awake Heroes Vol. 2: Legend of the Dark Hero is a standalone two-player tactical battle game in which each player commands a team of characters on a grid-based battlefield. Each player builds a team with a total cost of 10 or less and deploys their characters on the battlefield. Each turn proceeds through four phases: item, skill, movement, and attack. Players use their characters’ individual movement patterns and abilities to outmaneuver their opponent, while dice are used to resolve attacks, defenses, and skill activation. Every character can enter an AWAKE state, improving attributes such as HP, attack, defense, movement directions, and skills. A player wins by eliminating all opposing characters or reducing the opposing castle’s HP to zero. This second volume introduces 48 new characters from three factions: dark heroes, student warriors seeking to defeat the heroes, and sacred beasts wishing for peace. It also introduces God Summoning. Certain skills and items can summon a god onto the battlefield, adding a new rule that affects both players. The game includes everything required to play independently and can also be combined with the original Awake Heroes.
