Description

FIVESIX is a competitive card game in which players build ascending stacks, secure points, and try to steal cards from their opponents. On a turn, a player draws up to four cards and performs exactly one action: build by playing a higher number onto their open stack, bind that stack to protect it, or play a summoning card against an opponent's open stack. A summoning card allows one, two, or three die rolls. If any roll shows a 5 or 6, the summoning succeeds, and the player takes either the top card, the highest-valued card, or the entire targeted stack, depending on the card used. Stolen cards are placed beneath the player's own open stack. The played summoning card is placed on the targeted stack regardless of whether the attempt succeeds. When the draw pile is empty and a player has played their final hand card, all remaining open stacks are bound and scored. A full game consists of at least three rounds, and the player with the highest cumulative score wins. —description from the designer
