From Omaha to Paris is a solitaire game with World War 2 theme where player will be in a seat of a Sherman tank commander, writing a diary of his exploits on the European battlefield, going through Normandy and fighting Nazi Germany occupation force all the way to Paris. Game is abstracted wargame with a heavy focus on narrative and internal turmoils of a soldier that is faced with a duty toward his crew, trying to keep them alive and living through his portion of war. Objective of the game is to survive all battle engagements and keep points of Battle Fatigue low enough to have a normal life once back home. It is encouraged that you use a small diary and write down your combat exploits and key moments of your life in Normandy. You also need to track Battle Fatigue points in this diary for each mission. —description from the designer
