Description
Art the Clown stalks Sienna Shaw in Fright Fights: Terrifier Franchise, a head-to-head battle to the death played with cards that pull from the gruesome, iconic moments of the Terrifier films. Each player has a character card, their character's deck, and a hand of four cards. Every round, both players choose a card face-down, then reveal simultaneously, with the priority player acting first. Attack cards require a six-sided die roll to hit; Defense cards block incoming damage; Versatile cards let you wait until your turn to decide whether to attack or defend; and Special cards provide instant effects or ongoing equipment. A natural 6 is a critical hit that cannot be blocked. Health is tracked on a ten-sided die, and the first player to reduce their opponent to 0 health wins. The characters play asymmetrically: Art the Clown is vicious and unpredictable — his attacks come cheap, but failed rolls trigger wild side effects that can hand his victim an opening — while Sienna starts fragile, but when she falls she flips to Sienna Reborn, returning with more health and a bonus to every roll. All Fright Fights games are cross-compatible — any character can fight any character from another set — and a 2-vs-2 team mode brings the fight to four players. (The game plays with exactly two or four players; there is no three-player mode.) —description from the publisher
