Description
It's Halloween in Haddonfield! In Fright Fights: Halloween, players take on the roles of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode in a head-to-head battle to the death, playing cards from unique decks that pull from iconic moments of the film. Each player has a character card, their character's deck, and a hand of four cards. Every round, both players choose a card face-down, then reveal simultaneously, with the priority player acting first. Attack cards require a six-sided die roll to hit; Defense cards block incoming damage; Versatile cards let you wait until your turn to decide whether to attack or defend; and Special cards provide instant effects or ongoing equipment. A natural 6 is a critical hit that cannot be blocked. Health is tracked on a ten-sided die, and the first player to reduce their opponent to 0 health wins. The characters play asymmetrically: Michael Myers is a relentless attacking machine, while Laurie Strode plays a defensive game and counters with bonus damage. All Fright Fights games are cross-compatible — any character can fight any character from another set — and a 2-vs-2 team mode brings the fight to four players.
