Description
One Page Quest is a solo fantasy roguelike played entirely on a single sheet of paper with five six-sided dice and a pencil. Players take on the role of a hero who battles through three acts, defeats powerful enemies, acquires equipment, and grows stronger before facing the final boss. During each combat, players roll and reroll their dice to create the best possible combination. Each combination generates Strength and Accuracy, which together determine the hero's Power. Victorious battles reward gold, merchant visits, permanent upgrades, equipment, and other bonuses that help prepare for increasingly difficult encounters. To win, players must survive all three acts and defeat the final boss. Choosing when to improve dice combinations, invest in permanent upgrades, or purchase equipment is essential to overcoming the adventure's escalating challenges. —description from the designer
