Kransekage

Description

After decades at war, the kingdoms of Katt and Hund see marriage as the only silver lining for peace. Needless to say, the whole success of this celebration and the future of countless lives hinges on the quality of the kransekage cake you and your cookmates will bake! Kransekage is a ruleset for a standard deck of 52 cards. In it players are cooks, cooperating in order to bake the best kransekage cake so that the marriage between the two warring kingdoms is successful. Every turn a player will: Throw a die, if it lands on the kitchen grid they can move up to the number rolled Take the card the die landed on and place it on the cake board. Players also each have a secret royal request that will pull them in different directions while baking the cake. The final score is based on the number of layers of cake, plus the number of secret requests achieved! —description from the designer
