Description
Play as one of four dwarven factions in an underground city, each with their own victory conditions – some of which overlap. As the Coinkeeper, you will use the entrepreneurial spirit you inherited (along with the mine) to run your business, earning contentment by commissioning treasures and placating your workers, or winning a potentially shared victory through prosperity. As the Union, you represent the workers, and aim to improve their wages and conditions. Ultimately you want to gain solidarity, but you can also share a prosperity win if wages are high enough. As the Thane, you seek to maintain your ancient title as ruler of the city. You will gain power by passing laws, winning confrontations, or gloating over your riches. As the Idealist, you want a better world for all dwarves. Whip up the workers’ sentiment with radical literature and protests in order to gain zeal tokens and control areas to win – or share a solidarity win with Union. —description from the designer
