Description

The ancient Elder Forest has long been protected by the Heart Tree, a sacred source of magic that keeps darkness at bay. But now a sinister alliance has emerged from the shadows, determined to seize its power. Defending the forest, a guild of cunning Rogues, a skilled Elven Archer, a wise Mage, a swift Centaur, a fearless Dwarf Sapper, and a mighty Ballista crew hidden among the trees. Together, they guard the Heart Tree and the secret paths of the forest. Opposing them are the forces of darkness: Goblin Archers stalk the undergrowth, a Skeletal Archer fires cursed arrows from the darkness, a Warlock commands foul magic, a savage Manticore prowls the woods, a terrible Beholder watches from hidden clearings, and a fearsome Red Dragon seeks to burn the forest to ash. Both sides conceal their positions beneath the forest canopy, searching for their enemies and striking when the opportunity arises. As the battle rages through the ancient woods, only one force will emerge victorious and decide the fate of the Elder Forest…. But which one?... The Siege of the Elder Forest is a 2-play deduction game played on a 10 x 10 grid. Player’s take turns calling out grid coordinates trying to ‘hit’ the opponent’s creatures on their grid. Siege of the Elder Forest is based on the old game of Battleship. If you’ve played Battleship before, you’ll know exactly how to play Siege of the Elder Forest. —description from the designer
