Description

In Demi Cut, players take on the role of video editors living in the digital city of Silicron. An urgent request has just arrived from the real world, and it is up to the Demi’s to create the best video possible before the deadline expires. In this competitive strategy game for 2 to 4 players, participants compete to earn the most Victory Points by building efficient and creative video productions. Players assemble Video, Text, and Music sequences on their personal Timeline, perform color correction, add transitions, apply strategic effects, and carefully manage the limited space available in their Media Bin. Throughout the game, players complete scripts, generate renders, expand their Editing Island, and adapt to deadlines and round modifiers that constantly change the flow of the game. When the final deadline arrives, only one video will be approved for delivery to the real world. The player with the most Victory Points is recognized as the most talented editor in Silicron and wins the game. —description from the designer
