Description

Invisible patterns emerge from transparent layers as players experiment with lines, dots, and optical interference. By stacking clear cards, players create moiré effects (unexpected stripes and waves that seem to appear from nowhere) and try to match the visual challenge shown on the goal card. 重ねてモアレをつくるゲーム (The Moiré Game) is a visual puzzle card game in which players overlap transparent pattern cards to reproduce the design shown on a challenge card. The game uses clear cards printed with lines and dots; when multiple cards are layered, they create moiré interference patterns, and players must manipulate the cards to match the target image as accurately as possible. Besides solving printed challenge cards, the game also includes a mode where one player creates a pattern and the others try to reproduce it, increasing replayability.
