Description
A wealthy landlord has been found murdered in a lift, his body bloodied and the building's CCTV cut. In Killer at Keele Court, one to eight players take on the role of detectives and work to uncover who is responsible. The game comes as a case file of around 30 pieces of physical evidence, including witness statements, autopsy reports, and receipts. Players examine and cross-reference these, then use a companion app and website to take the investigation further, holding text conversations with characters, scanning fingerprints, and unlocking password-protected mailboxes that hold extra emails, voicemails, CCTV images, and reports. To win, players must identify the killer and enter their full name on the game's website. A correct answer plays a video that confirms the solution and ties the evidence together. —description from the designer
