Description

Based on the book "El Centinela" by Reyes Martínez. In real life, everything we do, everything we say, and everything we receive from others shapes how we feel and sometimes how we behave. A comment can hurt or it can encourage. A glance can exclude or it can welcome. And these small gestures, accumulated over time, make the difference between feeling accepted or feeling excluded. In this team-based interpretation and hidden-role game, the members of the “bad” team will try to create a negative atmosphere in the classroom by generating negative impacts on others. On the other hand, the “good” team will try to generate positive impacts on others. Among the good team is the Sentinel, whose objective is to uncover and neutralize the bullies on the bad team. Each player has a character and a role, and over the course of 3 rounds they must act out their character and pass positive or negative impact cards to their neighbor. At the end of the game, the “snitches” on the bad team will try to identify the Sentinel, eliminating him or her from the game. If they fail, the Sentinel will try to eliminate the “harassers” from the bad team, removing them from the game. The players who have not been eliminated count the number of positive and negative impacts in their hand, awarding points to one team or the other depending on the majority of positive/negative impacts. —description from the designer
