La Sociedad del Río

Description

In La Sociedad del Río, you must help complete the renaturalization of the Piles River in Gijón by carrying out actions directly on the river: removing weirs, cleaning the waterway, controlling invasive species, and planting trees along the banks. This contributes not only to improving the river’s condition, but also to the development of a rich and complex ecosystem in which native species can appear again. In this semi-cooperative game, you may choose either to improve one of the river’s parameters (current, shade, and cleanliness) or to place a species in the corresponding area of the ecosystem (river, riverbank, or forest), as long as the ecological conditions allow it. Performing these actions grants points, as well as extra rewards marked on the tracks you will advance throughout the game.
