Description

"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." In a galaxy reshaped by a runaway FTL experiment known as "The Cascade," four ordinary dogs have become a force to be reckoned with. As the Spacedogs, you pilot the Cedar—a ship held together by duct tape and rebellion—through a universe of pulpy adventure. Spacedogs is a cooperative board game that fuses tactical deck construction with immersive, pre-written narrative. Set in a post-Cascade galaxy where reality is unstable, players take on the roles of four transformed canine heroes: Nova, Cosmo, Aurora, and Orion. Asymmetrical 1-vs-ManyUp to four players become the Spacedogs, navigating through scenarios, while one player becomes the Game Runner. They aren't just a referee — they're the narrator, the tactical opponent, and the architect of a challenge. They control enemy tactics, reveal plot twists triggered by your actions, and manage the campaign. And the best part? They have their own hidden goals and progression. Tactical Depth Deck Construction: Before each scenario, players select Equipment (Weapon, Armor, Tool) that contributes specific cards to their deck. Stance & Synergy: Each character has a unique Stance (passive effect) that can amplify allies' abilities. Coordinate positioning and chain abilities to create powerful team combos. Temperament Management: Walk the line between "Wild" and "Tame." Push too far to the "Berserk" side, and you lose control; drift too "Domesticated," and you become too docile to act. Campaign Progression: Unlock special abilities, gain new equipment, and modify your deck as you progress through 12 interconnected scenarios. —description from the publisher
