Description

Juicy Fruit Salad (ジューシーフルーツサラダ) is a small box, competitive, family card game that is colorblind friendly and language-independent. You and your friends are making fruit salads and adding fruit cards of value 1-9 to various fruit salads. The player who makes a fruit salad add up to 10 scores the cards involved. Cards can be played for their value 2-9 on the front, or as a 1 on the back. You can also flip a card that might make a perfect fruit salad for you to claim, but more likely overfill the bowl (adding up to 11 or more), in which case, the previous player scores the cards. Fruit cards are worth 1 point, and ice cream cards are worth 3 (unless you have the most ice cream, in which case they score you 0 points). The game starts with 8 salads, 7 of which are ice cream cards, that get taken as they are scored. This leaves one last spot, the bowl card, to add cards to. Don't be caught empty-handed as the game comes to an end. With a tight hand limit of 3 cards, it's always good to draw fruit cards if you can. If your hand of cards and the deck are empty, you may flip or pass. The round ends when all players pass. The player with the most points after 3 rounds wins. -description from designer
