Description

In this card game, players compete to become the most sucessful conservator of threatened birds. They do this by protecting birds from modern threats while building a strong avian portfolio that improves their chances of survival. Gameplay is inspired by the "Seven Wonders" of birdlife: Nest, Flight, Feather, Egg, Beak, Migration, and Song. Points are awarded for birds that are protected, with additional bonuses for exceptional conservation. At the end of the game, the player with the most points is the most successful conservationist. The game ends after the specified number of rounds are completed. In a 2-player game there are eight rounds (each player starts four times) In a 3-player game there are nine rounds (each player starts three times) In a 4-player game there are eight rounds (each player starts twice) Throughout the game, players are aiming to create a personal display containing all seven Bird Wonders with three cards of the same Wonder in each column. After the last round is played, all players add up their points, including additional points for Conservation Medals and Bonus Tiles. Any Threat Cards result in a reduction of three points per card. The player with the most points is the winner of the game. —description from the publisher
