Description

In the harsh jungle, only the cleverest predators survive. Strength alone won't make you dominant—memory and strategic thinking are just as important. Anticipate your enemies, exploit their weaknesses, and avoid falling to the bottom of the food chain. One misstep, and you may become prey in this unforgiving ecosystem. Beasts in Mist (斗兽迷踪) is a 2-player board game centered on memory and tactical placement. Players take turns performing one of four possible actions to manipulate the board, hide information, or challenge their opponent’s recall. Points are earned by successfully tracking or capturing animals, with the first to 3 points winning—but mistakes can result in immediate defeat. Placement: Draw a card and place it in a 3×3 grid, flipping adjacent animals face down. Activation: Flip a face-up animal to trigger its movement effect. Tracking: Declare a hidden animal to test your opponent’s memory; points or victory may result. Predation: Attempt to 'eat' another animal according to the food chain; success earns points, failure may lose the game. Food Chain: Mouse → Elephant → Lion → Tiger → Leopard → Wolf → Dog → Cat → Mouse.
