Description

Kubble is a word game that plays like manipulation rummy, and has several features to make it family-friendly: - Each player has their own set of letter tiles and letter rack in their own color. - There is a skill balancing system that lets beginners play with experts. The game starts with everyone drawing 14 letters from their own bag. In their first turn a player must first lay down a word using 6+ letters from their rack, and after that and in later turns they may make words of 5+ letters, using a combination of letters from their rack and from words on the table, as long as those words are left as valid words of 4+ letters. If a player cannot make a new word on their turn, they draw a tile from their bag and pass. A round ends when a player empties their rack; each player adds the point values of all the letters of their color on the table, and subtracts 1 point per letter in their rack. The first player to 150 points wins. The skill balancing mechanic sets minimum limits for the length of words: for their first word played in the round, for their subsequent new words in the round, and for the words on the table that have had letters taken from them. The levels are: [Level name]: [min length first word] / [min length later new words] / [min length changed table words] Junior: 4 / 3 / 2 Beginner: 5 / 4 / 3 Regular: 6 / 5 / 4 (as described above) Advanced: 7 / 6 / 5
