Description

Cryptogame: Le Jeu des Champignons is a family-oriented board game where players explore a forest in search of edible mushrooms while avoiding toxic ones and other obstacles that the woods can throw at them. Players move their pawns across the forest board by rolling a die, flip tiles to discover different mushrooms, and attempt to collect the best selection of safe species. Along the way they may trade mushrooms with others or face setbacks from the unpredictability of the forest. The goal of the game is simple: be the first to gather five excellent edible mushrooms of the same species in your basket. To achieve this, players must balance memory, risk, and chance as they reveal tiles, manage their haul, and outmaneuver opponents to fill their baskets ahead of time.
