Description
Milan, March 1848. The city is rising. Barricades appear overnight. And you… command the Austrian garrison. We present W PIUS IX — a solo wargame that places you in the role of the opposing force in one of Italy’s most celebrated uprisings. History already knows the outcome. Objective: By moving Austrian Units from one adjacent area to another and fighting against Insurgent Units, the player must control (occupy) with one or more Austrian Units (excluding JGR units) the 4 Objective Areas present on the map. The map: The Map depicts the city of Milan in 1848. It consists of the starting area (Sforza Castle) plus 40 areas. The Game Turn track, Morale track, and AP track are also printed on the map.
