Description

On to Berlin! Is an area impulse games that uses cards for activations and covers the entire European and North African theaters from 1939 to 1945. The redeveloped game, based on Rise and Fall of the Third Reich from Game Journal #70, is a fast playing game that allows players to control their faction’s forces and decide on their strategy to achieve victory. Designed to be played in a single evening, the card purchase mechanic (tech tree) and game flow gives tremendous replay value that allows players to try different strategies for each game. The rules have been rewritten to remove ambiguities and clear up potential issues for players. This version adds rules for maintaining the secrecy of cards in a player’s hand and implements previous optional rules to address potential game balance issues. Cubes have also been added to the components to easier track the political leaning of neutral countries.
