Description
Geopowr is a tile laying game where you build the power that your continent needs to thrive. The planet’s population is growing and needs energy. You must build the most power for your continent in order to win. Players form an expanding grid of connected quadrants of different energy sources including solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and fossil fuels. Laying power cubes on the grid allows you to stake claims and build power plants. You can choose to cooperate or compete to win big for the whole planet or just yourself. You will be given Thermalina, Hydroelectrica, Wind Farmer, Oil Baron or Solar Goddess to help you achieve your mission. Assembling power cubes gives you an energy grid fed by power plants. Building these together will provide synergies to accelerate growth, and will allow you to scale energy production in power towers. Diversification of power is rewarded by the Well Digger and Green Queen. The standard game version is for 1 to 3 players and takes about 25 minutes. Additional versions of this scalable board game are available for up to 4, 6, 8 or 10 players and include increasing numbers of energy sources, tiles, and power cubes. —description from the publisher
