Description

Glades Emperor is a historical board game where players play as an outlaw in the swamps of southern Florida in the year 1910. The goal of the game is to establish the most robust covert economic empire without losing too much reputation with the local residents. Each outlaw per game will develop a unique network of operations carried out through the workforce of a band of hired hands. These workers must deal with local residents, navigate the harsh Florida environment and the contend with the ambitions of rival outlaws. After a series of rounds, the outlaw with the most valuable economy and strongest grip on the area wins. However, the outlaw that has most bad reputation among the locals is eliminated from the game, regardless of their wealth. —description from the publisher
