Description

SEWN is a 3 Phase trick-taking game with a farming arc: Seed Phase: You play 6 tricks with no trump and no scoring. Each trick's played cards become face-up "seed" cards in four shared field piles (South, East, West, North). Then each player "plants" one hidden card into those same piles. End of Summer Phase: Everyone plays their last card in a single special trick, highest rank wins, ties break by suit hierarchy. The winning card is set aside, its suit becomes trump for the Harvest. Harvest Phase: Play 12 scoring tricks with trump active. Each trick won is 1 point. After 3 rounds, high score wins. —description from the designer
