Description

After countless battles in HacKClaD, an immense Hydra has broke into the last city of humanity, You play as "Witches", specialised combatants with the power of magical Foresight tasked with repelling the monster by breaking it apart, leaving behind precious magic shards ripped from its skin. Through a series of rounds, players will draw and play cards from their unique character deck, utilising their effects to move, generate resources, and attack the Clad. However, before each round, the players see a list of the Clad's intentions, including how it will move and attack, allowing them to plan their actions to maximise their attack and avoid harm. Over time, players upgrade their decks by swapping their standard deck with "Enhanced Cards" of their choice, to modify and adapt their deck to the situation. As players deal damage, they receive the "Magic Shards" dropped from the Clad, and the player or team with the most at the end of the game wins. HacKClaD.DeltA is a standalone expansion and introduces the new mechanic "Legion", the Clad will summon additional smaller enemies that can obstruct player movements or even perform further attacks, requiring players to destroy them. The new characters also come with "Crack Skills", special powerful abilities, at the cost of destroying an unknown amount of their scoring at the end of the game.
