Murderers are a dime a dozen in Valley Falls. But that doesn’t keep the newest killer on the scene from showing a sense of ambition and flair. For the most recent rash of murders, the victims’ bodies all share a bizarre and disturbing characteristic: each of them has been dressed up as a classic nursery rhyme character and tagged with a note signed, “Mother Goose.” When all the king’s horses and all the king’s men are unable to put the pieces of this case together again, you are called in for support.
