Description

The gods of Olympus continue their age-old argument. Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and Thetis each claim their mortal child (demigod) is the most glorious of the Greek heroes. To settle the dispute, they summon their heirs to a divine trial of strength, cunning, and fate. Only one Hero will ascend to a seat among the Gods on Mt. Olympus. Heirs to Olympus is a tactical skirmish game that places 2–4 players in a divine trial of Greek legends. Players take on the role of Hercules, Theseus, Macaria, or Achilles, pitted in a match to prove which of them is worthy of ascending to Mt. Olympus. Lead your Hero, Companion, and four Acolytes across a shifting battlefield as you race to defend your sacred Relic while breaking that of your rival(s). Each round you’ll allocate movement, play action cards, apply special abilities, and time decisive attacks. The Phoenix Rising System keeps the action fast and relentless: fallen units return through a reinforcement queue, positioning and timing matter intensely, and every clash is shaped by dice, powers, and faction-specific Action Cards. Unpredictable twists can also emerge from Pandora’s Box, adding moments of divine chaos to the trial. Only Acolytes can damage Relics, forcing bold advances and desperate defenses. And when the game enters Sudden Death, defeats become permanent—and one well-timed breakthrough can decide Olympus itself. A mythic contest of asymmetric heroes, decisive battles, and legendary stakes. —description from the publisher
