Description
Players are wannabe influencers who try to increase their popularity catching the interest of the followers performing short speeches about miscellaneous topics linked together. Topics are indicated on the cards: every turn the player draws new cards to link with the precedent ones. This way the speech will be more and more tricky to invent and hilarious to hear. Other players listen to the speech and then starts a vote, but differently from other similar games, points (follower) are directly spotted in the cards (harder topics give more followers). In Guru the vote involve just the the topics nominated and the formal correctness of the speech. The game comes with a free web page with a timer for the speech and constantly updated bonus topics. —description from the designer
