Description
Idlewild is a card game designed by Oddlab Games, featuring original illustrations by Tina Nawrocki. Gameplay has players take turns stacking colour cards on the field to match recipes of flower cards. Each flower card is worth a given number of points, which are placed into a player's pot and scored at the end of each round. Points can be used to pay for special Shed cards, which can advance or hinder players' game plans. Each player's turn has a weather forecast, dictated by a revealed weather card. Three of the same weather cards in a row (rainy or sunny) or a wild card (frosty, windy, or lucky) triggers a weather event, which may destroy a player's flowers or impact them in other ways. A game consists of four rounds of five to seven turns, depending on the number of players. At the end of the four rounds, the player with the most points wins. —description from the publisher
