けいとりて (Keitorite)

Description

In けいとりて, roughly translated as Knitting Trick-Taking, players' cards are tiles with different lengths and no suit. The game includes a piece of yarn wrapped around a spool that is knotted throughout as the yarn is switched to a different piece of a different color. When a player plays one of their cards, the yarn is unspooled enough to place their card at the end of the previous player's, and a clip is placed on the yarn. While the game is "must follow", a players card is permitted to be the suit of any of the colors of yarn that it is adjacent to. More points are awarded for winning tricks with lower ranked cards, and the person with the most points with the game ends wins.
