Description

In a world divided by sharp contrasts, two forces: light and shadow, order and chaos, serif and sans-serif—vie for harmony through clever play. Each hand becomes a battle of balance and prediction, as players use monochrome cards to outwit one another in a duel of design and deduction. Trick-taking in Black and White: Serif & Sans-serif is a trick-taking card game for 3–4 players that uses dual-colored numeric cards to create a unique bidding and prediction challenge. Players must forecast their success and manage both “white” and “black” cards, with tricks determined by clever number play and careful observation. The game adds variety with “Serif” and “Sans-serif” decks, as well as variant rules that change how balance and contrast influence victory.
