Description

Estro is not just a card game; it's a complete, expandable game system. Welcome to a world where a single, decisive blow can shatter the strongest defenses and powerful abilities leave a permanent mark on the battlefield. Command one of five "Estri" (moods) and build your unique deck from 250 cards. Master a combat system with multiple paths to victory and unleash abilities with lasting consequences in a game designed for 1v1 duels, 2v2 team brawls, solo adventures, and much more. Gameplay Description Estro is a versatile and strategic card game system where players battle for total board control. The game innovates by removing player life points, focusing instead on a tense war of attrition where every card is a valuable asset. How to Win Victory in Estro is decisive and can be achieved through three distinct conditions: Board Domination: Win if your opponent has no cards left on their field at the end of a round (this is active from the end of the fifth round onward). Resource Exhaustion: Win immediately if your opponent must draw a card but has an empty deck and an empty hand. Victory by Score (Time Limit): After 19 rounds, the player with more cards on the field wins, provided their cards' total value is also higher. The Art of Combat: Two Paths to Destruction Estro features an innovative combat system that offers two ways to destroy an opponent's card, creating deep tactical choices: Victory by Power: The standard path. Your card wins if its total value (TOT), modified by bonuses, is higher than the defender's total value. Primary Value Overwhelm: The game-changing tactical path. If your attacking card's primary stat (e.g., ATK for an ARDO card) is more than double the defender's corresponding primary stat (e.g., DEF for a GRANITO card), your card wins and destroys the defender instantly, ignoring the total scores. This mechanic rewards clever matchups and can turn the tide in a single, well-planned attack. Gifts That Leave a Mark: The "Dono" System The abilities on the cards ("Doni") are uniquely persistent, making your choices matter for the entire game: 1V (One-Time Activation): Unlike typical one-shot effects, a "1V" Dono is activated only once per game, but its effect becomes a permanent modification to the card (e.g., a permanent +10 to a stat) that lasts until the card is destroyed. It's a fire-and-forget upgrade that leaves a lasting impact. Infinity (Infinite): These are passive abilities that remain active as long as the card is on the field, providing continuous effects and enabling powerful engine-building synergies. An Ever-Growing Universe of Ways to Play Estro was designed as an ever-evolving system. Since its release, numerous official game modes have been introduced, ensuring incredible replayability: Duel (1v1): The classic, strategic head-to-head experience. Inferno (2v2): A tactical team battle of coordination and synergy. Solo & Cooperative Modes: Face off against automated "Anomalies," challenging scenarios, and Raid Bosses. King of the Hill: A multiplayer mode where players fight to control a central point. Draft Mode: Test your deckbuilding skills on the fly by selecting cards from a random pool. And many more, with the system's flexibility allowing for a constantly expanding world of play. Key Features Strategic Combat with "Primary Value Overwhelm": Master two distinct ways to destroy cards, adding a unique layer of tactical depth. Permanent Effects with the "1V" System: Your choices have lasting consequences, as one-time activations grant permanent upgrades to your cards. An Ever-Growing Universe of Game Modes: One box provides endless experiences with official support for 1v1, 2v2, Solo, Co-op, King of the Hill, Raid Bosses, and more. Clear Victory Conditions: Win by dominating the board, exhausting your opponent's resources, or having a superior force when time runs out. No Life Points, Pure Strategy: Every decision matters in this tactical battle for board control. Deep Deck Construction: With 250 unique cards and no duplicates in your deck, the strategic possibilities are virtually endless. —description from the designer
