Débats Nuls: Pop Culture - A party game to timeless pop culture debates. Following the success of our first game, Débats Nuls, which focused on trivial everyday topics, we're tackling a bigger subject: Pop Culture. At a time when pop/geek culture is omnipresent in our daily lives, we offer you the opportunity to test your skills against others on iconic topics such as: Movies: Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park TV Series: Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Malcolm in the Middle, Stargate SG-1 Animated Series/Comics/Manga: Dragon Ball, Comics, Disney, Looney Tunes Video Games: Mario, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter, Crash Bandicoot And many more! Rules: Each round is played with three players: two debaters and one referee. Objective: Earn points by winning the VOID DEBATE cards (+5 POINTS) and/or the SPECIAL/SPEED CARDS (UP TO 10 POINTS); DEBATE CARDS: The referee designates two debaters and determines who will defend which point of view. The referee then declares the winner and awards 1 point for each VOID ARGUMENT used by each debater (written on the back of the card); SPECIAL CARDS: These are 4 fun mini-games that challenge the players' imagination and creativity. The winner receives 10 points; SPEED CARDS: These are 5 cards, each containing 10 pop culture/geek questions. The fastest of the two players receives 1 point for each correct answer. The game ends when a player reaches or exceeds 40 points. Description: For 3 or more players; 70 illustrated playing cards; A sturdy clamshell box; Hours of lively debates with friends.
