Nelayan Tobelo

Description

Nelayan Tobelo is a competitive card game for 2-4 players (ages 6+) designed to teach numeracy and geometric recognition, where players must defeat a monster using their number skills. The game is played over four challenge rounds followed by a final monster battle. In the first four rounds, players draw and play Number Cards (featuring numbers 1-10, Circles, and Triangles) to meet criteria set by a revealed Challenge Card (e.g., "Largest Circle Loses"). Winning players keep their card, while losing players discard an extra card, forcing card management as they draw back up to four. In the final round, players sum the geometric values of their remaining hand cards to check if they exceed the strength of the chosen Monster. The ultimate winner is the player who successfully defeats the Monster and has accumulated the highest total number of "Fish" icons on all the cards they won throughout the game.
