Description

"The board game RAMO (Rocket Flight to the Moon) is a journey of discovery. Today, it is completely unknown whether and what kind of ore deposits can be found on the moon. In this game, the existence of such deposits is assumed, and it is the rocket pilots' task to occupy these locations." In reality, too, space travel has lost its romanticized sense of adventure. While its basic research was once thanks to enthusiastic pioneers with predominantly noble goals, further development is now determined by its potential use for military purposes. The game goal is to go from Earth → Moon, clearing a board of ~50 spaces. Each turn, the player rolls the dice and moves the corresponding rocket/astronaut Can add “cosmic events” (meteor showers, meteorites, fuel shortages, ...), “rare earth/lunar ore sources” to compete for resources First person (or whichever player completes the goal first)
