Description

Its springtime and perennial battle of beavers vs. farmers has begun again. Beavers do what comes natural to them, building a lodge on a stream to start a family. These are both master architects and the ultimate squatters. The farmer needs a flowing stream, which is vital for a productive farm life and does not take kindly to having this menace on his property. So it begins ... Farmer Miller will take drastic measures to keep those beavers from damming up his stream. He will take incendiary cans and place them on the dam while they are building. Gun in hand, he will shoot at the cans to destroy sections of the dam. The farmer knows that there is only so much materials in the area that the beavers can use and wants to encourage them to relocate. X-Stream Squatters is a solo three-dimensional, tile placement game where you assume the role of beavers trying to build their lodge on the perfect stream. No other place will do and you get to work building your dream home. The farmer wants to keep them from making a permanent home and blocking up his stream, so he will take desperate measure to keep these unwelcomed squatters from making permanent residence. —description from the designer
