Description

Scion is a two player bluffing/deduction game of colors and values. Each player secretly tries to increase the values of their two colors, while trying to guess and decrease the other player's colors. The 8 colors begin in a randomly seeded column with their value increasing from the highest to the lowest. Mixed in are the 3 shade cards, which additionally alter the values of the colors. Over the course of 8 rounds, players will play cards from their hand to rearrange the colors. Each card can be played as its color (which allows the player to swap that color's position with any other color) or as a shade (allowing the player to swap the colors at a particular shade). While a player can play as many shades as they'd like, they can only play each color once. At the end of the game, players score points for the color cards they've played and the value of their two secret colors. —description from the publisher
