Description

Hexapod is a 1v1 bug-themed tactical, skirmish & exploration game! Navigate your pint-sized troops across arduous lakes and deep forests in search of the elusive source of delicious nectar. To start, each player will draft a team of 12 units from a selection of 15 unique bugs. Choosing between plain, interesting, or radical, each card will depict the unit’s type, movement, abilities, and attack style. The battle is played on a randomized board consisting of 14 hidden terrain tiles. Players will take turns discovering and moving their units through 6 terrain types that may buff or debuff unit movement. Nectar points can be earned by harvesting a Nectar OR attacking your opponent’s units. Your wits and foresight are integral to coming out on top! —description from the designer
