Description

Layover is a 2-4 player game where passengers try to be the first to fly to 5 continents. The game is light, yet surprisingly strategic, mixing route-building, hand management, and take-that mechanics to create a fun, interactive game that can easily fit in your travel bag. Layover takes passengers on a journey across the world. Passengers use boarding pass cards to travel to different stops around the world, collecting final destination cards along the way as they enter different continents. Passengers also acquire frequent flyer points as they travel, which upgrade their traveler status and allow them to take more actions during their turn. Layover is the perfect travel game, with a box small enough to put in a purse, and a table-presence condensed enough to fit on an airplane tray table. —description from the designer
