Description

Salunatics is a fast-paced bluffing and deduction card game set in a chaotic Wild West saloon brawl. Each player holds a hand of characters and dollars, while one player takes the role of Sheriff for the round. The Sheriff plays a card face-up, and everyone else must “follow” by playing cards face-down — supposedly matching the Sheriff’s suit or rank. But watch out: players can bluff, pretending to follow the Sheriff while secretly playing something else. At any moment, anyone may challenge a play. If the bluff is exposed, the liar loses dollars and the challenger gains the bonus effect of the card. But if the accuser was wrong, they pay instead! Bluffing successfully, however, lets you trigger both the normal and bonus powers of a card. Rounds continue with escalating tension until one player empties their hand. After each round, the richest player chooses the next Sheriff. The first player to finish a round with no cards wins the game — unless the money on the table tells a different story. —description from the publisher
