Description

From Wake-Up to Takeoff is a cheerful, narrative-driven children’s board game that turns the daily rush of mornings into playful storytelling. Players race across a morning routine board by rolling a die and collecting colored story cards when landing on “smiley” spots. These cards correspond to colors on the board and help players build their own morning tales. The game unfolds in three phases: First, the board race—who reaches the target first wins a point. Second, card collection—players aim to gather the most cards. Finally, storytelling—each player uses their collected cards to narrate a funny or imaginative morning, with the player deemed most creative by others earning the final point. In the end, everyone wins by sharing stories and boosting vocabulary, emotion, and social skills. Designed for children aged 3 to 8 and playable in about 20 minutes for 2 to 4 players, From Wake-Up to Takeoff encourages cooperative learning, imaginative speech, and positive emotional engagement—making everyday routines fun and meaningful. —description from the publisher
