My Liege!

Description

My Liege is a fusion of two classic games, Chess and Rummy, but without a classic game board. Played entirely with cards, My Liege includes a variety of strategic pathways to victory. The cards themselves serve several key functions and may be played as strategic abilities, matching sets to recruit familiar chess pieces, or played to the table as physical territory. players must manage their medieval vassals from two matching decks of cards to expand their fiefdom, build strategic locations across their kingdom, and ultimately lay waste to the enemy by destroying their King. There can only be one Liege! Besides medieval vassals aiding in your fight, players also choose locations to change and expand the game board. Locations don’t act just as Unit spawn locations, they also change the board in dynamic ways. Castles may be built as defensive positions. Chapels are sacred ground and may block an opponents pathway to attack. Build villages to lengthen your turn with additional cards.
