Description

In this trick-taking game with a standard pack, each suit has a 'ladder' represented by a face-up card on the table which is its current 'rung'. If you win a trick containing the card above the rung of a ladder, you claim control of it, as the rung increases to its new value. The trump suit is set by the current rungs of the ladders, and may change from trick to trick. You score points for any ladders held at the end of a deal based on its rung. Bonus multipliers are gained by holding the same ladder for multiple hands in a row. Designed primarily for three, but can easily accommodate more, playing in partnerships at four. —description from the designer
