Statue

Description

Statue is a tactical 2-player abstract strategy game where players battle for control using dice as warriors. Each player begins with 8 dice housed in the central Statue of Zeus. On their turn, players either place, stride, or diminish—placing new dice, moving existing ones based on their face value, or forcing risky plays by lowering their own dice. Dice move orthogonally and gain power as they move—cycling from 1 to 6. Landing on an opponent’s die removes it from the board. Strategic movement and timing are key, as the goal is simple: reduce your opponent to fewer than three dice on the board to claim victory. —description from the designer
