Can you bring the homeowner's dream of suburban paradise? Subtopia is the gentrification game where you flip tiles and develop the land creating a chaotic town of sprawling dystopian suburbs. Try to build an impossible suburban paradise with 2 - 4 players and compete in an economic battle for land. Your goal is to become the richest! Win by earning the most money building your corporate empire. Earn by developing (gentrifying) the suburban landscape into commercial cookie cutter suburbia. Consolidate wealth for your corporation by transforming your purchased suburbs into hilariously giant carparks with your commercial facilities. Complete community quests for your company and profit off their demand. Players flip, and place double sided hand-drawn tiles, one with rural living space, and the other side with homogenous suburbia. The flipping of a tile gentrifies the land from old living space to new suburban living space. Expand the board by connecting tiles together through their shared road networks. Roads are vital for building communities and spreading the suburbs, but in Subtopia, a competitive land of individual success, players have to find their own advantages on a chaotic board. Building a homogenous suburban paradise is impossible, just as you will realize the difficulty fitting the tiles together perfectly during gameplay.
